The next adventure in savvy student living is coming to Stratford. Originally built in 1903 in the Edwardian classical style, complete with channeled brick and radiating vousisoirs framing arched windows and entrances, the Mooney Biscuit and Candy Factory defined the entrepreneurial spirit of the time. Operating as the largest factory of its kind in Canada, it was lit with its own electricity, powered by its own steam and was the only firm in the country to own and operate its own railroad car with spur line connecting it to the national railway. Today historical details like the Turnbull and barrel elevators are still defining features of this industrial Edwardian classic. With historical roots cultivated by a spirit of progress, the Bradshaw is being reinvented for seasonal loft and student living unique in its focus on bringing premium hotel amenities to student life. Renderings provided by Michael Wilson, Architect.
